Small Business of the Month

Did you know that 75% of our membership is made up of Small Businesses with 20 employees or fewer?

 

The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations from the community for the Small Business of the Month Award.  This award is given to the organization that fits the following criteria:

• Nominees must be a member of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Must be an active business located or operating in Adams County.
• Nominees must be operating for at least 2 years.
• Must have 20 employees or fewer.

In addition, nominees must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:

• Community involvement
• Exceptional performance
• Great Customer Service
• Growth

Nominations must include a descriptive summary of why the nominee should be selected and recognized. Try to give specific examples as to why the nominee would be a great candidate.

The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce will then select the award winner from the submitted nominations and announce the winners on the Facebook. We encourage you to follow us on Facebook to stay up to date on monthly winners and show support towards the organization being honored. (All nominations will be kept for a period of one year).

The 2025 monthly winners will then be combined for the Small Business of the Year Award which will be announced at the 2026 Annual Meeting on January 21, 2026.
